Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
In 2006 Paul was named the honored hero for the Light the Night walk.
Overall our foundation raised $27,000 that went directly to a program that
supported pediatric cancer research.
The Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital
We have donated $75,000 to the Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Program. Along with the support of the Tuckahoe High School students, we have provided the children at 5 Tower a fully loaded Wii Video Cart.
The Maria Fareri Children's Hospital
Our current primary benefactor is Dr. Mitchell Cairo, who is the Chief of Pediatric Stem Cell Transplantation. We are proud to continue to support his work and since his move to The Maria Fareri Children's Hospital we have donated over $100,000 to help him find a cure for this deadly disease.
We also supplied the pediatric oncology ward and infusion center with 2 Wii video carts.
The Paul Luisi Foundation, along with the Tuckahoe High School students,
raised $7,500 and sponsored a wish.
The purpose of The Paul Luisi Foundation is to raise funds for pediatric cancer research and to support those who are touched by it.
At our last Gala we raised enough money to purchase 12 mini cars that are driven by anesthesiologists to take children from the pre-op to the operating rooms.
These cars are being used at:
